Children's School and Nursery School are located in Honmoku Motomachi, Naka-ku, Yokohama, and their son, Hikaru, has put up a picture by Masayasu Uchida in the hall. They cleaned it up and displayed it in the community exchange hall of the children's school. Also, today we had Kashiwa Mokko's tables and chairs delivered to the girls' unit at the nursery school. It was a donation from someone who supports the project.

K Residence is currently under construction in Koshigoe, Kamakura City, and is a house where you can admire Mt. Fuji. This is a house with a skip floor and a half-basement approach, with a span that is the limit of conventional wooden construction.

Construction is progressing on a terrace house in Nikaido, Kamakura City. We were setting up the foundation under the scorching sun. The building is scheduled to be completed this fall. It is said that fireflies grow in the Nikaido River.

Takakaze Children's Garden (orphanage) and Takakaze Nursery School (nursery school) under construction in Honmoku have both completed the upper building (frame pouring). It is scheduled to be completed on June 30 for the children's school and May 31 for the nursery school. The photo shows a nursery in the process of clearing formwork.

We are currently constructing 7 terrace houses in Zushi Kanagawa, below Mt. Hiroyama. It is wrapped in a white veil at a flagpole type site. There are two houses in the adjacent neighborhood, and although they are not as many as the five in Mutsuura in Yokohama, it is one of the areas where J Ishida Associates clusters have taken place.

Demolition work is underway, and there is a statue integrated with the entry wall at the existing building, today we separated the statue. If you fish with a tow truck, you will see a huge aerial swing, over 500 kg. Demolition work to be finished soon.

We are planning to rebuild a children's home and a nursery school in Yokohama, but since it is a reconstruction, we are also building a temporary kindergarten building. Even though it was a temporary facility, there were quite a lot of application and the design was also difficult. The daycare center will move in today and the orphanage will be handed over next week.

The N residence in Konan-ku will be completion at the end of the month. The early summer sunshine is very nice. The stained glass and colored glass are by Stained Glass Studio. The Lavender-colored glass is mysterious glass and is manufacturer by Bullseye in the United States. Redness comes out by ultraviolet rays (sunlight). When viewed indoors, it is blue-gray.

The S residence is complete, the house has clearstory lighting from the south side and the east road and a loft. The vibration and noise of the traffic facing the main road, was eased by the building envelope. The Construction was by Yoshida Corporation.

The I. Residence in Kanazawa Ward is under construction. It's elevated about street level, so the scenery is very nice, and you can see the Tokyo Sky Tree at night. This wooden frame is complicated.

The S Resort Terrace Project roof construction and outer wall foundation are in progress. The small skyscraper that can be seen in the distance is Musashikosugi. The trees grew on the original terrain but the 20m-class forests have been cut down on the opposite mountains and back mountains. Many landowners seem to have abandoned the maintenance of the forest because of the large typhoon last year. Since it is an urbanized area, development work has begun everywhere to cut up the hills with large retaining walls. Although it is unavoidable in a human-centered world, I am worried that the original terrain will disappear and the residential land like a field will gradually grow.

Finally, in the lounge at Hase Sanbankan, there is an antique hearth and hook. The stone and gravel floor and the keyaki beam ceiling are a perfect match, so if you have time please come visit us. More to come soon. The hydrangea in the approach garden of Hase Sanbankan also bloomed beautifully with the rainy season. It is a very good hydrangea season around Hase, so if you have time, please visit us!
BREAD IT BE opens in "Kamakura Jubankan"

BREAD IT BE
On February 1, 2020 BREAD IT BE opens in "Kamakura Jubankan" in Komachi, Kamakura. The bread of BREAD IT BE is made from several kinds of wheat, including those from Hadano, Kanagawa Prefecture, which are ground daily in a stone mill ordered from Germany and blended with other flours selected from home and abroad. "Kamakura Jubankan" was planned and designed by Jay Ishida Associates. There are 11 apartments including the owner's residence, a store (BREAD IT BE) on the first floor, and a gallery and multipurpose space "Yumezuan" of J Ishida Associates.

The Y house is in a quiet residential area located in Isogo Ward with a history from prewar days, but there are issues with connecting roads, and it has passed several hurdles such as construction permit, construction examination committee and relocation of equipment. The construction was done by Yoshida Engineering Co. Ltd. As for all the materials, they overcame various difficult issues such as manual transportation and proceeded with the construction without delay. Skilled Chiba Masters wielded Shibata Muranashi often assisted due to the construction period. We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to each of the subcontractors for their hard work on the site.
