The owner enjoys yachting, cars and motorcycles. The living room overlooks the garage with his favorite cars and motorcycles and incorporates a steering wheel table, wood stove, and other collectables.

The living area with an open stairwell gives the feeling of openness, natural sun lighting, cross wind, terracotta tiling, and the essence of earthiness.

The owners hobbies are surfing and kayaking, reading and listening to music. The outer walls are cedar board, an open style entrance that can be entered directly from the outside on the way back from surfing, high ceiling dining room, loft, bookshelf wall, plus a secure place for boards and kayaks.
